PICP CONFERENCE 2017
Guam, 28-31 August

Guam, 28-31 August 2017
Time left:

The 46th PICP Conference will be hosted by the Guam Police Department (GPD) Chief Joseph I. Cruz and the PICP Secretariat, and will be held on Guam from 28-31 August 2017.  The theme for the 2017 conference “Mandana Islas Pacifico” (Pacific Islands Together) was selected to encourage members to share ideas and best practice from their own jurisdictions, with a particular focus on community oriented policing.

Background and History

The PICP Conference is the annual forum through which collective PICP decisions are made, strategic direction is set each year, and major law enforcement issues are discussed.  The conference is open to all PICP members as well as key stakeholders and regional partners (invited as Observers).  Part of the conference (usually half to a full day) is reserved for a members-only ‘retreat’ allowing for more private and in-depth discussions.
